  1. Bersihkan ayam, rebus/goreng ayam setengah matang (saya di rebus) jika sudah sisihkan dulu)
  2. Tumis bawang bombay, bawang putih hingga harum. masukan cabai merah besar, cabai rawit, jahe, lalu kembali tumis lagi kemudian tambahkan air (saya sedikit saja)
  3. Tambahkan bumbu tambahan dan masukan ayam. masak lalu tambahkan kecap manis dan saus tiram. kembali masak hingga bumbu meresap dan matang.
  4. Terakhir tambahkan daun bawang dan matikan api. bisa dikasih taburan bawang goreng jika mau. ayam kecap siap dihidangkan
