Steps to make Tamales. ॐ:
- Pon la carne en la olla de presión con agua, que la cubra, y deja unos 30 minutos después de poner el tapón.
- En un bowl pon la masa, sal, polvo y manteca. Amasa muy bien y mezcla.
- Una vez cocida la carne saca y reserva.
- En el agua de cocción pon los chiles, ajos, cebolla, comino y canela a hervir. Una vez revienten los chiles, lleva a la licuadora. Una vez licuado, cuela y agrega la carne. Deja guisar para que todo se sazone. Rectifica la sal.
- Escurre muy bien las hojas y seca con toalla de papel.
- Extiende las hojas pon un poco de masa extiende y pon encima una porción de carne. Envuelve muy bien. Usa varias hojas para que queden bien envueltos.
- En la vaporera pon la rejilla, añade agua y una moneda, ésta sonará si se quedan sin agua. En ese caso pon agua caliente por una orilla, jamás encima de los tamales.
- Deja cocer por aproximadamente 50 minutos. Una vez transcurrido el tiempo de cocción revisa que estén bien cocidos. Si no están agrega más agua y deja cocer otros minutos.
