- Cuci ayam sampai bersih. Lumuri dgn jeruk nipis. Diamkan beberapa menit, cuci bersih lagi.
- Campur jadi 1 tepung serba guna, tepung maizena, tepung beras dan kocokan telur. (tekstur sangat kental). Masukkan ayam, dan pastikan semua bagian sudah diselimuti dengan tepung. Jika adonan masih terlalu kental, boleh ditambahakn +-2-3sdm air. Diamkan +-15menit.
- Goreng ayam dengan minyak yang banyak hingga matang kecoklatan. Pake api kecil saja agar matang dgn sempurna. Angkat, tiriskan.
- Tumis bawang yg sudah dicincang sampai harum. Masukkan ghocujang, saos sambal, dan saos tomat (dan bubuk cabai bila perlu). Aduk rata. Tambahkan madu, 200ml air, gula dan garam. Aduk terus hingga agak mengental.
- Jika sudah agak mengental, masukkan ayam yang sudah digoreng. Bolak balik hingga adonan saus menyelimuti semua bagian ayam.
- Sajikan diatas piring lalu taburi dengan bubuk wijen.
