The ingredients needed to make Yangnyeom-Tongdak:
  1. Take Bahan Ayam :
  2. Prepare 1/2 kg ayam
  3. Prepare 2 jeruk nipis
  4. Make ready 2 siung bawang putih
  5. Make ready 50 gr maizena
  6. Make ready 30 gr terigu
  7. Take 1/2 sdt merica
  8. Take Biji wijen putih
  9. Prepare secukupnya Garam
  10. Prepare Bahan Saos :
  11. Prepare 2 sdm mentega
  12. Take 3 sdm minyak
  13. Make ready 4 sdm saos sambal
  14. Prepare 2 sdt gochugaru (bubuk cabe)
  15. Prepare 4 sdm gula

Tongdak (통닭) - Tongdak means 'whole chicken'. Whole small young chicken is lightly coated and Korean Fried Chicken (Yangnyeom Chicken) at Kangneung Market. Note, at the bottom of the picture. There's proto-Korean fried chicken, the whole roast chicken (tongdak).

Instructions to make Yangnyeom-Tongdak:
  1. Cuci ayam, balur jeruk nipis. Diamkan 3 menit kemudian bilas dg air bersih.
  2. Haluskan bawang putih lalu lumuri ke ayam. Tambah garam+merica, aduk2 lalu diamkan sebentar.
  3. Tambah terigu+maizena ke ayam tadi sambil dicubit2 ke ayam biar nempel.
  4. Goreng ayam 2x biar kriuk krenyes. Gorengan pertama sampe ayam agak putih trus angkat dan tiriskan sebentar. Lalu goreng lagi ayam sampe kecoklatan trus angkat.
  5. Aduk saos sambal+gochugaru di wadah terpisah.
  6. Panaskan minyak+margarin. Tambahkan gula pasir lalu masak sampai gula larut. Masukkan saos sambal dan gochugaru yg sudah diaduk tadi. Aduk2 sebentar, jgn terlalu lama gochugaru bisa gosong.
  7. Masukkan ayam ke saos. Aduk2. Taburi biji wijen sbg pelengkap. Ayam siap disantap.
