- Prepare 2 ruas kunyit, bakar
- Prepare 8 butir kemiri, sangrai
- Prepare 2 cm jahe

Instructions to make Pepes Ayam Woku:
- Pan fried ayam yang telah dilumuri dgn garam dan air jeruk nipis sebelumnya sampai berubah warna, tanpa minyak dan diatas api sedang. Disini aku sengaja pan fried supaya ayam tidak begitu bau amis (ini opsional ya). Tumis bumbu halus dengan minyak sedikit banyak diatas api sedang sampai bumbu berubah warna dan wangi. Masukkan daun pandan, daun kunyit, daun bawang, daun jeruk dan serai. Aduk kembali sampai wangi. Jika bumbu tumisan terlalu kering, boleh diberi sedikit air.
- Masak kembali bumbu tumisan sampai air meresap (disini aku kebanyakan air haha), masukkan garam, gula pasir, merica bubuk dan kaldu bubuk. Aduk rata (rasa bumbu harus sedikit asin). Matikan api, masukkan sebagian daun kemangi, aduk rata. Tuangkan bumbu tumisan kedalam ayam. Masukkan telur yg telah dikocok, sisa kemangi dan santan instan. Aduk rata.
- Ambil selembar daun pisang, disini aku double supaya tidak bocor. Sendokkan 1 potong ayam, beri 1 cabai rawit dan tomat iris. Lipat dan sematkan dgn lidi.
- Kukus pepes kedalam dandang yang telah panas selama 30-40 menit. Angkat, sajikan :). Disini aku memanggang pepesnya lagi, namun ini opsional ya :)
